Time for a revamp

So I'm on my break in between the end of classes and the start of finals, and what better way than spending it in a spontaneous week-long vacation with my mom! When I was on the phone with her yesterday as I was waiting for boarding in Los Angeles, she gave me a great idea...

One of my favorite things to do is traveling. Its so much fun to go to new places, try different things, and just to be in a different environment that its like I get contact-high for the duration of my trips. I come up with all of these pointers and stuff, but never really write them down. So not only is it hard for me to remember the exact details, but then I also have a hard time when people ask me for tips and suggestions. My mom suggested that I keep a traveling blog, so basically that is what I will be trying to achieve here. I will still keep my personal anecdotes, but obviously those are far and few to begin with.

I'll start off simple, with places I've been, and different suggestions for these places. At first I was thinking of doing big posts for every destination, but that would be a little too intense. I'll do smaller posts, focusing on just a few things, and then have more posts for a single destination. Does that make sense? Probably not, but bear with me here. I am hoping that this can take off and maybe help others who are planning trips and want suggestions.
